Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated customer facing technical support individual to join our dynamic team to aid in promoting our semiconductor foundry services. This individual will be responsible for
providing highly responsive pre/post-sales applications engineering support to enable our growing business across BCD, Analog/Mixed Signal CMOS, CIS, & RF processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly communicating with customers and engineering design/process groups Presenting and interpreting design, application and service information to customers and sales personnel Ability to forge and manage multi-level engineering and management relationships with customers, partners and company staff in a dynamic global marketplace Providing technical support to sales team members in the field Working with customers and internal technology development teams to identify engineering possibilities and limitations Aid customer & sales team to identify cost vs. performance issues When needed, help to identify new applications and markets for existing foundry processes Assisting customers in device usage challenges and customer testing of complex devices Communicating and sharing new information and methods with cross functional team members to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications
This position requires
a BSEE/MSEE degree or equivalent 3+ years experience as an applications engineer (field or factory) in a high-tech company. A team player with good communications skills and a strong customer service orientation as well as the ability to execute to a plan San Jose/Silicon Valley area-based role Will require US (mostly Silicon Valley) and some international travel. ~10% Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or ASIC design environment. Deep knowledge of CMOS process technology for logic, mixed-signal and system-on-chip implementations as well as EDA tools and IP & cell libraries. Preference will be given to a self-starter with the capability to get things done in a complex global business environment without direct supervision. The ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of engineering and management audiences is essential. Compensation:
