Summary

Foundation Data Coordinator

Position Highlights:

The Foundation Data Coordinator is an essential contributor to the overall success of the Prospect Development and Analytics (PD&A) Team within the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation. The PD&A Team is responsible for the core Operational functions of Database Administration, Portfolio Management & Optimization, Prospect Research, and Reporting & Analytics. This role is essential in our efforts to promote data accuracy, integrity and accessibility for data health & portfolio optimization processes. They will assist in the auditing and clean-up of constituent data, creation and distribution of queries and exports, and maintenance of portfolio accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Data Management

Creates, updates, and runs queries and exports in Raiser's Edge for a wide variety of Foundation needs, including reports, mailing lists and portfolio management. Completes routine database projects such as obituary updates, audits and cleaning, address finder updates, reporting, and linking gifts to proposals, among others. Assists with database improvement and innovations, staying current on trainings and new features of the donor database, and collaborates with team to share information and implement new processes as needed. Implements and upholds data hygiene practices to enhance the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of fundraising data. Collaborates with Director and DBA to update policies and procedures for data entry, processing, and updates in Raiser's Edge, and assists in creating team-specific training guides for Raiser's Edge users throughout the Foundation. Assist in event registration and management, ensuring accurate data capture for participation tracking and engagement. Collaborate with all Foundation staff to address data requests and programs specific needs. Portfolio & Research and Administrative Assistance

Provides support by answering the main Foundation phone line, managing inquiries, directing calls and assisting with general administrative tasks. Assist in data entry related to portfolio management, such as adding/removing prospects, assigning Solicitors, reviewing and cleaning Actions and Opportunities. Provide technical support to frontline fundraisers in data-related matters. Assist in prospect research, as needed, including wealth screenings, and contact data searches. Credentials and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in data entry, data accuracy, records/database management. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a High School diploma/GED and five years' experience as stated above will be considered. Knowledge of and proficiency with database management applications Strong attention to detail. High level of data entry accuracy . Keen understanding of the importance of data hygiene . Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills . Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects while meeting deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with varied internal and external constituencies with high level of integrity, including ability to treat confidential information with discretion. Ability to be organized and resourceful to locate and compile information and accomplish projects with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment with professional demeanor, self-reliance, and resourcefulness. Dependability and punctuality. High energy, positive attitude, high degree of initiative, and a natural curiosity for research and problem solving. Proficient experience using the most recent versions of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (i.e. MSWord, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred

Previous experience with Raiser's Edge/NXT or a similar CRM.

Experience in a fundraising and/or health care environment.
