Junior Network Engineer
We're seeking a Junior Network Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-direct role in Alpharetta, GA. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, enterprise-level wired and wireless network projects, supporting clients across multiple industries. You'll handle both technical implementation and client-facing support, with responsibilities including staging/configuring equipment, troubleshooting under pressure, and managing network performance. Highlights: Pay Rate: $43.27$52.88/hr (OT eligible at 1.5x) Direct Hire Salary: $90K$110K after conversion Schedule: 8 AM 5 PM, some overtime and weekend work required Travel: ~30% within the U.S. (up to one week at a time) Work Environment: On-site only no remote option Type: Contract-to-Hire Qualifications: 2+ years of network engineering experience (wireless networking strongly preferred) Proficiency with Layer 2/3, IPv4, network services (NTP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with Ruckus Wireless (preferred), Cisco equipment, access points, and switches Ability to stage/configure equipment, upgrade firmware, and troubleshoot enterprise networks Strong communication skills for client and internal team interactions CCNA or equivalent knowledge a plus This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, can work independently, and enjoys delivering high-quality networking solutions for enterprise customers.
