Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities and requirements:Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance Procedures & Inspection Protocols: You'll be expected to develop, implement, and monitor quality systems and protocols for inspection and control.Production Monitoring: Ensuring that production processes meet internal and customer-specific requirements. This may involve regular checks, audits, and collaboration with various departments.Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action (CAPA): If issues arise, you'll lead the investigation to determine the cause and implement corrective/preventive actions to avoid future problems.Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): You'll manage reports related to any defects or deviations from standards and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.Auditing: Conduct internal audits and help with external audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Quality Tools: Utilizing tools like FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and control charts to make data-driven decisions and improve processes.Collaboration: Working closely with teams in engineering, production, and inspection to resolve quality-related challenges.Calibration & Measurement: You'll manage calibration schedules to ensure measurement equipment is accurate and maintained.First Article Inspection (FAI): Supporting the inspection process during product development and at the point of acceptance.Training: Educating team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to enhance overall product quality.Requirements6am -4pm ShiftRequired Skills & Knowledge:CNC Machining Expertise: This is vital for understanding the specific quality control methods in a machining environment.Quality Systems: Knowledge of ISO standards, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, etc.Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret quality data and make data-driven decisions.Communication: Will need to collaborate with multiple teams and document processes clearly.This is a fairly broad and responsible role with a mix of technical expertise and managerial skills. RequirementsBachelors Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred.3-5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing or CNC machining environment.Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.Proficient in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.).Experience with interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis, and statistical methods.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.No relocation is available and must be able to work without sponsorship at any time.
