Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing the visual, dimensional, and/or functional inspections in various stages of manufacturing process, which include raw material inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection. The Quality Control Inspector will also be required to verify the Job Traveler corresponding operation and, to prepare and use standard documentation for reporting inspection data. The Quality Control Inspector may frequently interact with members from one or more of other department to provide inspection activity feedback or obtain requirement regarding the inspection acceptance criteria or in-work progress as applicable.

This is a full-time on-site role as a Quality Control Inspector located in Ontario, CA. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products through inspections, quality management, and adherence to standards. They will communicate effectively with the production team to maintain high-quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all of the following types of inspection process: First Article Inspections, In-Process Inspections and Final Inspections.
Ensure correct methods, tools and criteria are used for inspection.
Verify production parts to approved engineering drawings/blueprints, inspection checklists, work instructions and customer specifications.
Prepare and use standard documentation for inspection cert and report.
Prepare AS 9102 Aerospace First Article Inspections Report (FAIR).
Identify and segregate nonconforming material to be properly documented and recorded.
Qualifications
Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
Experience in inspection and quality management
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a similar role
Certifications in quality control or related fields are a plus
Minimum 2 years of Quality Control Inspection Experience.
Ability to use common inspection instruments (i.e. Calipers, Micrometer, Thickness Gauge, Pin Gauges, Measuring Tapes, Durometer and weighing scales).
Working knowledge of AS9102 Specification
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Attention to Detail and Accuracy.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Highly Organized, self motivated and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100 Rev. D Quality Standards.
Familiar with ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 – AQL Sampling Standards
Familiar with ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard (GD&T)
Working knowledge of NCR, CAR, 5-whys, fishbone analysis
Knowledge of Lean Production, 5s, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
Knowledge in Foam, Plastics, Adhesive and Rubber material
Previous experience in operation/program of CMM.
