Subcontract Administrator
You will be the Subcontract Administrator for our procurement team. Our team is responsible for developing and administering subcontracts to support the development, production, and global sustainment of our products and services. As the Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for creating and managing subcontracts for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our subcontracts are properly developed, negotiated, and administered to support our business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, and evaluating proposals Negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, and writing subcontract packages Administering resulting subcontracts, including negotiating and coordinating changes Participating in the development of subcontract policies and procedures Signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority We're looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Subcontract Administrator to join our team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Ability to be on-site a minimum of 2 days/week. Desired Skills: Negotiation experience Strong organization and communication skills Ability to analyze and drive to closure problems in an effective manner This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
