Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is excited to announce an opportunity for a System Architect to support the HEITS Contract, part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). This role is for those passionate about cybersecurity and who want to play a pivotal part in protecting our homeland. As an Insider Threat Program System Architect, you will have the chance to design, develop, and evolve the cybersecurity infrastructure to thwart insider threats. Your responsibilities will include: Evaluating new architectural designs and enhancements to assess their impact and value for the ITP mission. Creating and updating an architectural roadmap that guides future developments within the ITP infrastructure. Assessing all changes related to the ITP for potential functional, security, and cost-related risks. Collaborating with engineering teams to design innovative solutions that enhance ITP functionality. Maintaining documentation to clearly express the configuration baseline of the program. Managing performance metrics to ensure effective tracking of the program's success. Preparing presentations and materials that clearly communicate the design and functional baselines to stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: A Master's degree and over 15 years of relevant experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A strong background in developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports. Experience preparing and presenting briefings to senior management and key stakeholders. Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices. Knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, and common security elements. Active Top Secret government security clearance; eligibility to obtain DHS EOD SCI. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Over 10 years of experience in IT service delivery management. Experience with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms. Familiarity with Everfox High Speed Guard Platform. Understanding of Cisco or Juniper Networking Concepts. In-depth experience with On-Premise Systems Infrastructure. Proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL DBMS platforms. Come join us to innovate and create smarter solutions!
