Acutronic is seeking an early career Embedded Software Engineer II to join the Acutronic Aerospace Division. In this role, you will help design and develop firmware and supporting software applications for our actuator, power systems, microturbine, and turbogenerator products. You will be working with a small, fast-paced team responsible for products from concept through production and support. Our ideal candidate will have at least four years of relevant experience. Your Roles/Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems in C on TI C2000 and Atmel AVR microcontroller targets Develop supporting software applications for testing firmware and hardware Work with cross-functional team to debug and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Write and maintain technical documentation for design and implementation Navigate schematics to understand electrical design of system Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; Master's in engineering preferred Minimum of four years of experience Strong proficiency in C programming language Experience using standard tools such as IDEs, Git version control, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Familiarity with implementation of communication protocols such as UART, CAN, SPI, I2C Familiarity with utilizing real-time operating systems (e.g. FreeRTOS) We Offer:
