Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise and project initiatives. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into data models. Create dimensional models and conformed dimensions for use across business units. Utilize data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, Erwin, or Oracle Designer. Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data models and support data analysis. Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure alignment with data architecture. Contribute to the development of data modeling standards, governance processes, and documentation. Mentor junior data modelers and promote best practices across teams. Stay current with industry trends, including AI and emerging data technologies. Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Extensive experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, 3NF, dimensional). Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Experience collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams. Proficiency with data modeling tools (e.g., PowerDesigner, Erwin, Oracle Designer). Excellent communication skills to explain complex data structures to non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills:
Experience in enterprise data architecture and governance. Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional team collaboration. Familiarity with AI technologies and trends. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across business and technical domains. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. Actual pay may vary based on education, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
