Valdosta, Georgia Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Summary:
The HVAC Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and sewage systems. This hands-on role requires technical expertise and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and adjust refrigeration and HVAC systems for optimal efficiency Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing and sewage systems Weld, fabricate, and read blueprints for installations Handle water and sewage treatment with chemical applications Maintain equipment and respond to after-hours service calls Comply with safety, food safety, and GMP standards Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years' experience in HVAC/refrigeration (commercial) Familiarity with systems like compressed air, boilers, industrial refrigeration, etc. Basic welding skills EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
required Skills Needed:
Ability to read and follow work instructions Basic math and measurement skills Sound reasoning and problem-solving ability Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor Compensation: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
