Project Manager / Project Engineer - Land Development (PE Required) Tampa, FL | Orlando, FL | Palm Bay, FL | Hybrid
An established engineering firm is seeking an experienced
Professional Engineer (PE)
to join its Community Design team, focusing on
land development, infrastructure, and municipal projects . This role combines
project management, client interaction, and technical leadership .
Responsibilities: Lead
land development and municipal infrastructure projects
(transportation, roadway, stormwater, potable water, wastewater). Oversee project
scope, schedule, budget, and client delivery . Manage
permitting processes
at the local, state, FDOT, regional, and federal levels. Guide and mentor
project engineers and technical staff . Develop proposals, estimates, and business opportunities. Ensure
quality control
and successful execution of designs. Build and maintain strong
client relationships . Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering
(Master's preferred). 10-15 years
in civil/site/land development design and project management. Florida PE license (required) . Strong knowledge of
CADD
and Florida permitting. Proven success managing
teams, budgets, and client expectations . PMP certification a plus. Compensation & Benefits:
