Talent Space
Talent Space, Inc. is seeking Operations Support for a long term contract in Santa Rosa, CA!
Our client is responsible for the high-quality assembly of metal and glass components used in state-of-the-art devices. These parts are either machined in-house or sourced from external suppliers, and are essential. Team members in this area must demonstrate excellent fine motor skills, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately. Good vision-with or without corrective aids-is essential. Another department focuses on assembling small, intricate components that are later integrated into larger assemblies. This work involves the use of various hand tools, such as tweezers and small hammers, as well as finger-operated presses to accurately join parts. After assembly, all products are subjected to electronic testing to ensure proper functionality before moving to the next stage. Maintaining the integrity of both the products and personal safety is critical. Employees are required to use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, finger cots, and safety glasses, to prevent contamination and protect themselves during the process. Certain builds involve exposure to chemicals, which necessitates the use of appropriate PPE (gloves, aprons, safety goggles). Additionally, hermetic assemblies often require extended heating in hydrogen furnaces or industrial ovens. Heat-resistant gloves must be worn when handling hot components to ensure safety. This department offers extensive cross-training opportunities, making it ideal for individuals who are driven, adaptable, and eager to grow. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, the ability to produce consistent results, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Requirements: Strong attention to detail; able to inspect parts for cosmetic and functional defects (with and without a microscope). Experience using microscopes for prolonged periods. Ability to read and follow written procedures, protocols, or schematics. Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Comfortable working with hydrogen furnaces/industrial ovens. Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and workflows. Capable of sitting for extended periods. Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor control. Ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately. Effective communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. Comfortable working safely around chemicals and potentially handling them. Self-motivated and capable of learning thoroughly and independently.
