Packaging Operator
responsible for supporting operational functions, machine automation, and packaging systems in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is ideal for candidates with prior packaging or manufacturing experience who thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate
automated packaging machinery
including drum massagers, delumpers, cappers, filling machines, and labelers. Provide
operational and technical support
across packaging lines and projects. Train others, assist in system improvements, and lead by example in safety and compliance. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards. Troubleshoot mechanical or procedural issues and escalate concerns as needed. Maintain high accuracy in packaging, documentation, and order fulfillment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in test cycles and audits. Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of packaging or manufacturing experience preferred Clean-shaven due to PPE/safety requirements Nice-to-Have Experience:
Prior experience in
GMP-regulated environments Chemistry coursework or chemistry-related work experience Forklift operation certification or experience Required Skills:
Ability to operate
powered industrial equipment Attention to detail and visual accuracy Team-based communication (verbal and written) Preferred Skills:
GMP familiarity Problem-solving in high-volume environments Understanding of packaging flow and labeling systems Multitasking across changing production priorities Adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards Additional Skills :
Ability to lift 55 lbs and move up to 300+ lbs with equipment Proficiency in working in physically demanding, climate-variable environments Use of safety gear and PPE for toxic or corrosive material handling Benefits:
