Tikvah Program Coordinator

Camp Ramah in the Berkshires is an overnight camp located in Wingdale, New York serving campers entering 3rd grade through 11th grade. The mission of Ramah is to provide joyful Jewish experiences to our campers and staff. We are looking for a hardworking, patient and enthusiastic adult to join our team. Tikvah is our overarching program that provides support to campers with disabilities. We have a self-contained disability support program for campers who have mild to moderate support needs. Our Breira B Ramah program is for campers with lower support needs who live in mainstream bunks. We are looking for candidates who can commit to spending 8 weeks at Camp. Salary scale begins at $4,000 based on relevant camp and professional experience. Tuition assistance is also available for staff children. The Tikvah Program Coordinator will be supervised by the Director of Community Care and Inclusion. Responsibilities: Manage the caseload of 15 20 campers with disabilities across camp This may include developing behavior management plans and/or individualized schedules Communicate with parents on a frequent basis Train bunk counselors and provide coaching on an ongoing basis Supervise the bunk counselors in Breira and Tikvah bunks Manage the day to day program for the Tikvah self-contained bunks Collaborate with all staff around camp Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and positivity at camp Complete staff evaluations at the end of each session Complete camper evaluations at the end of the summer
