Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Technician Buffalo Grove, IL M-F 7:3:30 Competitive pay + benefits - $30-$35/hr
We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by maintaining and repairing chillers, HVAC systems, water pumps, air compressors, and other facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and building equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems Monitor and respond to alarms, perform root cause analysis, and complete repairs Maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP or similar CMMS Follow all safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out and 5S standards Assist in TPM activities and support continuous improvement efforts Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a technical or industrial setting Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and working on ladders Basic computer skills; SAP experience a plus Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to safety Meet Your Recruiter
