Banquet Kitchen Staff
The Banquet Kitchen Staff supports banquet operations by ensuring the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen organization. This role is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment during events. Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen stations. Assist chefs and banquet cooks with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, plating appetizers, and arranging food trays. Ensure all banquet equipment (chafing dishes, serving utensils, etc.) is cleaned and ready for use. Remove trash and recyclables regularly and maintain cleanliness of floors and surfaces. Help set up and break down banquet kitchen areas before and after events. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local health department regulations. Work as a team to support timely and efficient banquet service. Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Work Environment:
Commercial kitchen and banquet service environment. May be hot, noisy, and fast-paced during peak event times. Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements for extended periods.
