We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Technician must be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in HVAC systems, and able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Operations Pastor.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in new or existing buildings, ensuring proper setup and functionality. Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with heating and cooling systems, replacing defective parts as needed. Troubleshooting: Identify problems through diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues in the system, and provide solutions to resolve them effectively. System Upgrades: Recommend and install system upgrades to improve energy efficiency, performance, and compliance with current regulations. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, including parts used, repairs made, and time spent on each job. Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Licenses: Valid HVAC Technician license (where applicable); EPA certification (for refrigerant handling) is required. Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with smart HVAC systems or energy-efficient solutions. Additional certifications in refrigeration or advanced HVAC technologies. Ability to work weekends, or on-call as needed.
