Description Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications. Drive consistency for deployment and build processes. Have worked with teams before on large and demonstrable projects. Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production ready code and infrastructure. Self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in a team environment.
Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required skills:
CWIP IAT Level I Deep knowledge and experience with VMware vCenter, Cisco switches, VPNs, VLANs, Server Deployment Experience with enclaves and firewalls (e.g., NSX, Cisco ASA) Experience related to network engineering design, system fit-up, and system deployment General Windows and some Linux system administration and sustainment experience, to include patching Knowledge working with Storage Area Network (SAN) and Power Distribution Units Familiarity with customer Security (i.e., STE/STN) requirements
Desired skills:
Experience with VMWare NSX Experience with migrating from VMWare 7.x to VMWare 8.x is strongly desired Knowledge and/or experience with Hardware as a Service (HWaaS) is desired
Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $270,000.
