Senior Financial Analyst
is a key contributor to Nystrom's strategic goals, helping guide leadership decisions and supporting profitability. This role will focus on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and pricing, delivering insights that inform business performance. Collaborating closely with the CFO and the leadership team, the Senior Financial Analyst will analyze business trends, develop financial reports, and enhance reporting capabilities through tools like Microsoft Power BI, D365, and Salesforce. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally to meet the company’s financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to assess financial impacts. Develop and maintain pricing models to ensure profitability and market competitiveness. Monitor daily pricing trends and manage the pricing engine for accuracy and efficiency. Provide product margin recommendations and course-correct as needed to safeguard margins. Create and maintain financial BI capabilities, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI, D365, and Salesforce. Provide cost analysis on raw materials and Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance. Develop new reporting capabilities to meet evolving business needs. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analytics and financial analysis. Strong knowledge of manufacturing and cost structures. Advanced financial modeling and business analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, D365, Salesforce, and advanced Excel.
