CISCO Network Engineer

We are seeking a Tier 3 Network Engineer with strong Cisco wireless expertise to join our team. This role focuses on enterprise wireless networking across large/global environments, supporting day-to-day operations, complex escalations, and high-impact projects. You'll be part of a global team owning the hardware/platform operations, while the security team focuses on policy. Expect exposure to SD-WAN and firewalls, but the main priority is Cisco Wireless (controllers, APs, authentication, RF performance). Key Responsibilities:

Act as Tier 3 escalation point for Cisco wireless (controllers, APs, roaming, RF, authentication). Lead complex troubleshooting across WLAN/LAN/WAN, including spectrum analysis, packet flow, and RF interference. Implement, optimize, and support Cisco wireless infrastructure (9800/Catalyst controllers, DNA Center/Prime, ISE/ 802.1X ). Support enterprise projects (e.g., site setup, migrations, cutovers, stabilization). Collaborate with the security team (policy) while owning configs, deployment, and uptime on the network side. Create and maintain documentation (runbooks, designs, SOPs, network diagrams). Partner with Cisco TAC/vendors for escalations and RCA. Participate in a future rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 global support. Required Qualifications:

7+ years professional experience as a Network Engineer. Strong Cisco wireless expertise: controllers (9800/Catalyst), APs, authentication, roaming, RF fundamentals. Hands-on experience with DNA Center/Prime, ISE, 802.1X , AAA, and RADIUS/DHCP/DNS. Proven Tier 3/escalation background in large/global enterprise environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills (packet flow, QoS, site surveys, RF optimization). Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Nice to Have:

SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela or similar). Firewall administration (Cisco ASA/FTD/Firepower). Automation (Python, Ansible) for network operations. Certifications: CCNP (Enterprise/Wireless) required, CCIE preferred (or in progress). What We're Looking For:
