Job Description Position Title:
Global Head of Quality Control & Commissioning
Location:

Your Role The Global Head of Quality Control and Commissioning will oversee all QA/QC activities for the company's global data center portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of construction quality are met across regions. This includes developing and implementing global QA/QC policies, procedures, and systems, driving compliance, and supporting project delivery to meet operational, client, and regulatory requirements. The Lead will gather quality feedback from regional teams, contribute to design standards, and serve as the subject matter expert for quality and commissioning processes. The role also involves fostering collaboration among contractors, creating synergies across the program, and establishing feedback loops with internal operations teams to improve handover standards and practices. Additionally, the Lead will set global commissioning process standards to ensure scalable, repeatable design and construction solutions.
What You’ll Do
Manage global QA/QC and commissioning programs, enabling regional adjustments for consistency.
Define and establish global standards for quality assurance, commissioning, and handovers from DE&C to Operations.
Provide leadership and support to regional teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute a global QA/QC strategy aligned with the company’s vision.
Standardize inspection, testing, documentation, and reporting processes across regions.
Monitor and evaluate quality performance, conducting audits and site inspections.
Identify non-conformance issues, root causes, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and high-quality outcomes.
Support and train regional QA/QC teams to ensure consistent application of standards.
Drive innovation by integrating modern quality management tools and techniques.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Chartered or professional registration in relevant engineering disciplines is preferred. LEED AP certification is a plus.
10+ years of experience in data centers or technically demanding developments focused on QA/QC, with 7-10 years of management experience.
Deep understanding of commissioning fundamentals, including integration of schedules and testing for mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems, with experience in IST.
High digital competence, familiar with construction-related digital tools and workflows for QA/QC management.
Proven leadership in managing global and regional teams, fostering a culture of quality.
Deep knowledge of QA/QC practices, construction methodologies, and relevant standards, especially in mission-critical environments.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical issues to diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, from planning to commissioning and IST.
Strong organizational and risk management skills.
