The role primarily involves transporting and organizing files to support clerical operations across the agency. Responsibilities: Transport files across different departments within the agency using carts or other equipment. Assist with organizing and maintaining physical file systems to ensure efficient access. Load and unload files as needed to facilitate clerical workflows. Support other clerks by ensuring files are properly distributed and available. Perform basic filing tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to streamline file management processes. Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive information. Provide general assistance in clerical tasks as required by the department. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations. Communicate effectively with team members to address file-related needs. Requirements: Ability to transport and manage files in various physical locations within the agency. Previous experience in filing or file management is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Capability to work on your feet and move files for extended periods of time. Willingness to take on entry-level tasks and support the team. Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed. Familiarity with basic office operations and file handling procedures.
