Partner with cross-functional teamsincluding clinicians, product managers, engineers, and external stakeholdersto understand business use cases, clinical workflows, and digital transformation goals. Leverage the GE HealthCare AI platform, including modular microservices, large language models (LLMs), and foundation models, to architect intelligent solutions that address real-world challenges in healthcare delivery, diagnostics, imaging, and operational efficiency. Rapidly design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) aligned to specific business needs, using AI models and microservices to validate solution viability, accelerate decision-making, and demonstrate clinical impact. Develop reference architectures and reusable solution templates that streamline the implementation of AI-driven workflows, ensuring scalability, performance, and ease of integration. Guide the integration of foundation modelssuch as those for medical summarization, clinical coding, image annotation, and patient engagementinto enterprise applications in a secure, privacy-compliant, and cost-effective manner. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure microservices and AI capabilities are production-ready, maintainable, and aligned with compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA guidelines. Advocate for best practices in AI architecture, MLOps, data pipeline design, and observability across GEHC's ecosystem of solutions. Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI, generative models, healthcare interoperability, and cloud-native technologies, and translate this knowledge into innovation for GE HealthCare's customers. Participate in customer engagements, strategic planning sessions, and technical workshops to evangelize the value of GE HealthCare's AI platform and solution ecosystem. Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, AI/ML platforms, and data & analytics Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent 5+ years of experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT and AI/ML transformations, with a focus on regulated industries like healthcare 5+ years of experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, and publications, with an emphasis on AI-driven innovation in healthcare 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures, including clinical AI solutions, predictive modeling, or health data platforms Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification Professional experience architecting and operating cloud-based healthcare AI/ML solutions, with awareness of compliance standards such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or GxP Experience modernizing legacy healthcare IT systems to incorporate AI-enabled decision support, clinical workflow automation, or patient engagement tools Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly, and manage high ambiguity in fast-evolving healthcare AI ecosystems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in presenting and whiteboarding with a high degree of comfort speaking with healthcare executives, IT leadership, clinicians, and developers about AI/ML strategy, clinical impact, and infrastructure. This role is considered an on-site position located in Bellevue, WA. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
