Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
Assist Gabriel’s and In room dining staff by expediting and delivering food while maintaining presentation and temperature standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Deliver food from Kitchen to Gabriel’s ensuring that all food items are served to guest at the correct temperature and in a timely fashion.
Ensure Gabriel’s kitchen line is fully stocked with all plates, bowls, and other serving vessels throughout shift.
Act as liaison between Gabriel’s staff and culinary point person to ensure all modifications are executed effectively and special requests are met.
Assist servers in providing Platinum service by completing such task as refilling beverages, pre-bussing plates, offering additional items, ascertaining drink orders, greeting and seating guests, delivering checks, etc…
Clean debris from tables, floors, chairs and side stations throughout shift, using proper equipment, cloths and sanitizer.
Assist servers in stocking side stations with proper amounts of silverware, napkins, glasses, cups, condiments, etc.
Carefully, safely, and properly stack heavy trays.
Assist Room service in delivery of items or set up of trays, to FLIK standards, when In room dining is busy
Clean service station and sweep/mop/vacuum floors periodically or when instructed.
Reset tables to Flik standard as needed.
Set up receptacles for trash and dirty linen.
Transport clean and soiled linens as required.
Complete opening and closing side work as instructed.
Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be flexible concerning scheduling needs and requirements.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
TABC and Food Handler's certification required (must get on their own)
