Perform a broad range of lab testing without direct supervision, including RT-qPCR procedures and high-complexity testing Receive, accession, and process biological specimens; solve specimen collection and processing issues Execute and document quality control procedures and corrective actions per lab protocols Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment as needed Verify and report accurate results in a timely manner using EMR and instrument software systems Comply with OSHA, CLIA, COLA, and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and accuracy Maintain inventory of reagents and lab supplies; ensure cost-effective utilization Participate in lab proficiency testing and continuous performance improvement initiatives What You Bring to the Role

Meets CLIA, CMS, and COLA requirements for high-complexity testing: Bachelor's

in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; OR Associate degree

in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology; OR Equivalent education/training including: 60 semester hours including 24 hours in science/MLT coursework At least 3 months documented lab training in each tested specialty

Knowledge of molecular laboratory techniques;

RT-qPCR experience preferred Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills Effective communicator and collaborative team member Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays Able to lift up to 25 pounds
