Accounting Manager
who thrives in inventory-heavy, fast-moving environments and loves turning complexity into clarity. You'll own the monthly close, elevate inventory accounting, and build strong controls that keep our growth crisp, clean, and GAAP-right.
What You'll Do
Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Notes) in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring completeness and consistency for consolidation. Intercompany Reconciliation Lead reconciliation and settlement of transactions with sister companies and affiliates, resolving imbalances and maintaining complete documentation. Accounting Operations & Inventory Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, and timely close activities. Manage and reconcile inventory accounting-covering movements, costing, and valuation across company-owned and 3rd-party warehouses-while partnering with Operations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting. Audit & Compliance Support external and internal audit processes with comprehensive preparation, accurate documentation, and timely resolution of findings. Ensure adherence to US GAAP and company accounting policies. Internal Controls Design, implement, and strengthen internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with governance standards. Technical Accounting Manage complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and accruals, providing guidance on proper treatment and documentation. Process Improvement Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and efficiency in accounting workflows and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive financial management, accurate reporting, and clear communication of results. What You'll Bring Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Experience : 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience and experience in
inventory-heavy or multinational Food & Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry strongly preferred . Technical Skills : Strong understanding of US GAAP Proficiency with ERP systems (Famous ERP or equivalent preferred). Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets. Inventory & Operational Accounting : Direct experience managing inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cost controls in a warehouse or supply chain environment. Analytical & Problem-Solving : Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive approach to identifying and resolving accounting issues. Communication & Collaboration : good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to partner effectively across functions and geographic regions. Adaptability : Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
