Our Cottage Grove location seeks a Lead/Supervisor for a team of CAD professionals working on Non-Standard Product Requests (NSPR). This role involves leading a team to understand and develop solutions for unique customer needs, collaborating internally and externally, and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative solutions. ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Provide leadership and coaching to a team of 5-7 CAD professionals. Lead projects to improve efficiency in meeting network needs for non-standard products. Manage team levels and propose process or structural changes to address resource gaps. Collaborate with Quality, RDI, Customer Service, and retailers to align on strategic goals. Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Travel expected

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent in CAD. 5+ years in 2D/3D CAD, Product Design, R&D, or Process Engineering. 0-2 years of leadership experience. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of design documentation methods. Self-motivated with curiosity. Proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred). Strongly Desired Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or similar. 7+ years in engineering with product and process design. 2+ years of leadership experience. Experience with process improvement (e.g., kaizen). Knowledge of lean sigma. Project management skills (PMBOK), capable of leading projects. Proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred). WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily in an open office and manufacturing plant; PPE required. Communication via email, phone, Teams, and visits.
