The Operations Manager (OM) reports to the General Manager and is responsible for supporting all supervisory duties as outlined below. This role requires onsite presence at the client’s location as needed and involves regular communication with the client and other vendors. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities of all drivers and oversee the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, in alignment with client directives and WeDriveU company policies. Ensure all bus routes are fully operational and meeting the client’s service needs. Make real-time staffing and coverage decisions, communicating changes effectively to both drivers and client management. Lead the hiring process, including conducting interviews, administering road tests, facilitating training, and onboarding new drivers. Monitor and analyze ridership data to recommend route adjustments as necessary. Assist in the development and refinement of company policies and procedures. Provide ongoing support to the General Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Required and Physical Demands: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required. Self-motivated with strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Familiarity with DMV policies and procedures is preferred, but not required. Class B license with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsement is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift 25+ pounds, climb stairs, and remain on your feet for extended periods. Additional skills and physical demands may apply. Education and Qualifications: Required: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Operations Management. Preferred: Experience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM) is highly desirable.
