The Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, team members and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required Two years of related experience preferred Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred Expectations and Responsibilities:
Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal Completes all assigned maintenance work orders Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems Performs preventative maintenance Maintains safety systems, such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security) Able to work independently or as part of a team Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve
