Full-stack Application Developer and Implementation Specialist

Job Summary: The full-stack application developer and implementation specialist is responsible for the accurate development of internal custom applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in back end and UI/UX development, and they will have an adept ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders to develop technical requirements. This position requires the candidate to be comfortable working independently on developing a new program and will not be part of a development team. Primary Responsibilities:Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss the development of new and existing application featuresAbility to produce weekly or monthly reports to management with updates on application development Ability to articulate the progress of the application development to internal stakeholders Possess a high level of understanding and experience in program / methodology framework by which an application is built Required to assist with implementation and training of the application to other users in the Company Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT preferred but not requiredExperience:5+ years' experience in application development GIS experience preferred Agile Methodology Experience preferredTechnical SkillsAPI Integration experience Experience in development leveraging one or more of the following: T-SQL, SQL Server, Java, Python, C#Position Requirements:Ability to work independently on development of applications. Ability to travel to the Jackson MS office, or other offices within the U.S. and work on site, for up to 2 weeks at a timePhysical Requirements:Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a dayWorking on a computer for 6-8 hours a dayTravel to various offices with short notice Typical office environmentMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.May be required to work long and unpredictable hours during peak times
