Data Analyst

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Risk and Quantitative teams to build robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and support advanced analytics using Oracle PL/SQL, Python, and Snowflake. Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PL/SQL, Python, and Snowflake. Design and implement data integration solutions between various internal systems and external data sources. Collaborate with Risk and Quantitative teams to understand data needs related to risk pricing, exposure calculations, and performance metrics. Create and manage complex stored procedures, functions, and scripts in Oracle and Snowflake environments. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems. Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks or failures. Assist in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based platforms like Snowflake. Contribute to the development of data models that support analytics and reporting needs in the investment risk space. Follow best practices for data security, quality, and governance. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 10+ years of software development experience Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development. Hands-on experience with Snowflake writing SQL, managing data pipelines etc. Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration workflows. Experience working with large datasets and complex data models. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for performance. Strong communication and documentation skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Compensation: A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $86,200.00 - $156,800.00.
