PURPOSE OF POSITION

Ensures that the catering processes for each facility are followed and re-enforced. Loads catered food on the truck and delivers food to designated area safely, timely and within all food service safety guidelines. Unloads food at designated sites, and ensures all products are stored properly at the sites. Maintains the required logs and paperwork accurately and timely at the facility where food is served. Helps direct volunteers during meal services. Reports to Catering Supervisor for additional daily tasks. Supports, promotes and adheres to Catholic Charities' vision, mission, values and Code of Ethics. Reflects Catholic Charities' commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect. Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information. Regular and predictable attendance. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with people in crisis Ability to remain calm in stressful and/or emergency situations Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Basic knowledge of word processing and typing ability to enter participant information Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the participant population. Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse participant base. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Attended some college working towards an Associate or Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); and 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary: $22.00 per/hour. Full Time.
