FBM Gas Hydraulic Assembly And Gas Generator Associate Product Manager

For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. As the FBM Gas Hydraulic Assembly and Gas Generator Associate Product Manager, located in Englewood, CO, you will lead personnel and the GHA and GG IPT's. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of the Missile's Boost Control Hydraulic sub-systems/Commodities. Responsibilities include: Work collaboratively with the program and functional senior leadership to manage staffing requirements and plan job assignments and rotations to sustain engineering capabilities and critical skills; and drive performance management, career development, and personnel related activities. Support all facets of team leadership including cost, schedule, and technical execution of program scope including development, production, and special investigation contracts. Shape the future of the program through digital transformation and model-based engineering vision and initiatives. Planning, executing and reporting on issue investigation, closure and design change efforts. The position will require domestic travel (~25%). Basic qualifications: Ability to lead a multi-disciplined technical team with demonstrated leadership and customer intimacy capabilities. Experience in leading a team either as manager or team lead. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel to a wide range of subcontractor and Naval offices (>25%). Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US citizenship is required. Desired skills: Proposal experience - including labor cost estimates, statements of work generation, negotiations, and cost review. Missile and/or aerospace related education or experience. Experience with development and production milestones. Experience with high temperature fluids and/or high temperature alloys. Experience on FBM processes and products - but not required. Experience with requirements development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Risk and opportunity experience with an understanding of continuous improvement, agile and systems thinking concepts. Pay rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
