The candidate will support The Ohio Department of Transportations Ellis Development Team, working with a designated application team including the Application Development Manager, project manager, application architect, and quality assurance analyst in an iterative development environment. This position functions as a highly skilled Senior Level PR5 with responsibilities including: Reviewing and understanding the Application Teams work plan. Providing status updates and deliverable estimates to the Team Lead. Participating in requirements gathering sessions. Designing and developing applications based on specifications and interfaces, ensuring alignment with requirements. Presenting complex technical concepts to business partners. Anticipating, identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and risks. Maintaining legacy technology applications. Working independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines. Experience: Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript. Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and take direction across business and functional lines. Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with technical design in large enterprise systems. Providing best practice recommendations based on industry standards. Mentoring technical teams. Proven troubleshooting experience.
