Cashier Position
It is the responsibility of the cashier to accurately accept, record, and account for all revenue types such as cash, credit cards, comps, and gift cards, from hotel guests, casino personnel, or management in all Food & Beverage dining outlets. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity). Responsibilities: Accurately accounting for all revenues within all Food & Beverage dining outlets. Accurately generating food checks for servers using the computer register and telephone. Assigned banks and transporting bank from Satellite Cage to work station and returning. Maintaining and cleaning workstation, and restocking supplies upon delivery. Reporting any failing equipment to Shift Supervisor/Supervisor. Accurately logging all pertinent information on all tender type forms. Ability to communicate with co-workers, managers, and hotel guests, and to follow directions from Supervisors. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Qualifications: Ability to use computer register, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) credit card approval and imprint machine, 10-key adding machine, telephone and telephone headset, and time stamp machine. Must have good customer service skills. Minimum age requirement is 21. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide specific to position responsibilities. Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Must be able to complete standard forms and reports. Pay Range: USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
