Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented

Customer Service Partitions Drafter

to join our team. In this role, you'll transform customer orders into accurate and efficient partition layouts, preparing detailed shop drawings complete with hardware specifications to guide manufacturing.

You'll be a key technical resource for customers, providing clear product information and ensuring their needs are met with precision. In addition, you'll play an important support role for our Technical Services and Customer Support teams, stepping in as a knowledgeable backup when needed.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (overtime as needed)

Job Responsibilities: Prepares accurate partition drawing from architectural plans, customer sketches, calculating dimensions of components, relation of one component to another, and relation of various components to whole structure or project. Constructs drawings by utilizing Bobrick design criteria and AutoCAD drawing program software. Creates component list, material cut sheets and appropriate installation hardware detail with use of Bobrick 5-25 software program. Compiles shop cut sheet from drawing, noting special sizes, seams, drilling, hardware, or packing instructions. Compiles hardware Pick Sheet and downloads text files for hardware into Detail Parts System. Calculates material requirements if required, using Cut Plan Software. Designs and draws special components for special orders as needed. Organizes and updates files of current hardware and design criteria, special installations, and communicates appropriate information to Customer Support Department. Provides technical information to Customer Support Department, factory representatives, or customers. Clarifies technical issues on orders with factory representatives or customers, as needed. Analyzes field complaints and provides feedback on product problems. Performs duties of Customer Service Partitions in order processing as assigned. Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable drafting/design software. Associate's degree, technical training, or 1-3 years of related customer service and/or drafting experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. Proficient at quickly locating and applying information from catalogs, online resources, and standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in customer orders, layouts, and drawings. Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to investigate customer issues, gather the right information, and deliver solutions that benefit both the customer and Bobrick. Accurate and efficient data entry skills for order-processing systems. Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, questions, and complaints tactfully and professionally (both internal and external). Reliable follow-through to ensure customer inquiries are resolved promptly and thoroughly. Ability to interpret technical documents such as specifications, plans, blueprints, and submittals to support customer requests and orders. Benefits:

$21.15 / hour
