Summer Camp Staff Assistant
Pay: $16/hr
Job Summary: Ascension Academy is looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our summer camp team! As a Summer Camp Staff Assistant, you'll help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers by supporting daily activities, supervising groups, and ensuring campers have a memorable summer experience.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and running daily camp activities like games, sports, arts & crafts, and field trips Supervise and engage with campers to ensure their safety and enjoyment Support camp counselors in leading activities and managing groups Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all campers Set up and clean up activity areas as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming camp space Follow all camp policies and safety procedures Actively participate in all camp programs and events Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for working with children and creating a fun camp atmosphere Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lead, support, and engage groups of children Reliable, responsible, and adaptable with a positive attitude CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)
