In middle schools, paraprofessionals assist teachers with more complex subjects and may focus on helping students with specific needs, like supporting special education programs or students with behavioral challenges. This position has a focus on technology - specifically maintenance & inventory, and will be eligible for the Site Technology Rep (STR) stipend.

Supervises students with behavior problems who have been suspended from classrooms, and assists them with their assignments. Communicates with teachers, counselors, and other administrators about performance and disciplinary issues. Provides a supporting learning environment for students; maintains discipline. Monitors school hallways to maintain order and monitors student activity in classrooms, computer laboratory, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and other locations as required or requested. Assists with record keeping and clerical tasks. Maintains the confidentiality of student information. Follows established district policies and procedures. What You'll Need:
