Job Summary The Senior Managed Services Solution Architect (SMSA) is a field-based technical pre-sales role that focuses on developing comprehensive managed services solutions for CDW customers. This role involves providing consultative guidance, scoping service offerings, and fostering strategic relationships to drive business growth. You will work with customers, delivery, and internal sales teams to develop and maintain strategic relationships and be a trusted advisor to grow our Managed services business. Responsibilities include: Developing appropriate service solutions, including analysis, technical scoping, and support for managed services offerings. Collaborating with customers, delivery teams, and sales to provide consultative guidance, plan sales strategies, and respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, proposals, and SOWs. Costing and pricing managed services opportunities to meet business goals, including gathering customer metrics for scoping and pricing. Analyzing technical and competitive considerations to meet customer requirements and deliver enhanced business outcomes. Maintaining strategic relationships with customers and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor. Practicing ownership of assigned territories or clients, establishing regular contact, and assisting with territory strategy. Serving as a subject matter expert in multiple service families, including at least 50% managed services. Monitoring opportunities of varying complexity and coordinating with delivery resources for engagement success. Leading outreach initiatives, technical enablement, coaching, and mentoring. Supporting new offering development from a technical perspective. Developing training content for coworkers and maintaining relevant certifications. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; minimum of 5 years in technical pre-sales or delivery roles, or 9 years in similar roles. Motivated, self-starting, able to perform independently with minimal guidance. Industry knowledge, especially with healthcare clients preferred. Strong collaboration, leadership, and customer-focused skills. Solution design and problem-solving capabilities. Willingness to travel as needed. Compensation & Benefits: Pay range: $79,000 - $120,000, plus an annual bonus target of $30,000. Benefits details available at this link. Salary may vary by location.
