Substitute Bus/Van Monitor

Summary:The Substitute Bus/Van Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students on school buses or vans. This is a substitute position, located in the Transportation department.Responsibilities:- Assist the bus/van driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation.- Ensure that students are following safety rules and regulations while on the bus/van.- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus/van.- Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with students, parents, and staff.- Follow all district policies and procedures regarding transportation.Requirements:- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.- Must pass a background check and drug test."An Equal Opportunity Employer"All employees must pass state & federal background checks.Employee salary & benefits information available at https://www.cusd15.org/page/vacancies
