Position Summary: Busek is seeking a detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to oversee key accounting functions, financial reporting, payroll, and the transition from

Deltek

to

Epicor . This role requires expertise in

general accounting principles, financial analysis, and ERP system implementation

to support our growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Reconciliation: Produce

accurate and error-free

financial reports. Review

financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger (GL) accounts

to identify and correct discrepancies. Ensure major expenses are

coded correctly

to projects or overhead. Maintain the company's

depreciation schedule

and prepare related journal entries. Reconcile

payroll-related GL journal entries

monthly for accuracy. Support

month-end and year-end close

activities. Review all monthly transactions, including

journal entries and bank reconciliations , and alert the CFO to any discrepancies. Payroll Processing & Compliance:

Prepare and submit bi-monthly payroll

in compliance with company policies. Reconcile

tax and payroll documentation

(e.g.,

941s vs. payroll tables ) and resolve discrepancies. Review

W-2 reporting

for accuracy before distribution. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare

corporate financial reports . Conduct

variance analysis

of financial results and identify trends or issues. Prepare

monthly program reports

to support business operations. Budgeting & ERP Transition (Epicor Implementation):

Serve as the

primary finance point of contact

for the

Epicor ERP

implementation ( 50-100% focus for the first six months ). Provide financial data and support

system configuration and testing . Reconcile all account balances in

Epicor and Deltek

to ensure accuracy. Oversee the

creation of financial reporting

within the new system. Format and upload

financial data from Deltek into Epicor . Ensure data from

other systems integrates correctly

into Epicor's financial module. Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree

in

Accounting, Finance, or a related field . 5+ years

of accounting experience, preferably in a

government contracting, engineering, or manufacturing environment . Strong knowledge of

GAAP

and

financial reporting best practices . Experience with

Deltek and Epicor

(or other ERP systems) preferred. Proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

and financial analysis tools. Detail-oriented with

excellent problem-solving

and organizational skills. Strong
