The Global Operations Technology team at Schonfeld is tasked with creating a platform that serves as the golden data source for post trade operational data transaction capture, near real-time positions, start-of-day position, end-of-day position, trades, executions and P&L. The team is responsible for
Drop copy and FIX integrations for post trade across our multi-manager multi-strategy platform.
Building and managing positions across a wide array of asset classes including listed and OTC products.
Building and maintaining all systems related to the funds intraday and end of day trade reporting facilities across all investments to our Prime Brokers, Fund Primary and Shadow books of record systems.
What youll do
The QA Automation Engineer will work with both technical and business stakeholders to understand present and future requirements and implement an automated testing framework. This will include assessing all functional and non-functional features of the applications, determining and solving for any existing interference with automated testability, creating and implementing an automated testing plan, and using Python/Java to perform functional, regression and smoke testing. The ideal candidate will work with the team in creating tests in parallel to the development of features and enhancements.

Commercial experience of quality assurance in financial services
Experience working with automated testing and test suite maintenance
Experience with testing of server and database layers
Experience with Relational Databases
Experience with Apache Kafka
Experience with RESTful services
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results
Experience using Pytest
Experience with Portfolio management and Post trade infrastructure
Experience with testing front-end/GUIs
Experience testing FIX Protocol

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $100,000 and $160,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
