Focused HR Solutions Our client in Nashville, Tennessee, has an opening for a BI Developer 64160. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least once a week. TN residency and a government ID are mandatory. Job Summary and Responsibilities Develop and maintain data systems from raw data collection to report output using Microsoft BI solutions. Create a three-layer data process, automate data collection via ETL, and build analytical data cubes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver projects on time. Create database schemas and automate data collection from FTP sources. Set up FTP tasks, email notifications, and develop ETL processes using SSIS. Develop, configure, and deploy SSIS packages with event handlers and error notifications. Create error reports for raw data submissions and write complex T-SQL queries. Build data relationships, create dimension and fact tables, and optimize stored procedures. Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query performance. Build OLAP cubes and data marts for analytical reporting.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, math, or related field. At least 5 years of proficiency in SQL Server/T-SQL and Microsoft BI tools. Minimum 4 years of experience as an ETL developer. Extensive experience in building data warehouses and data marts. Experience in the fiscal/finance industry is preferred.
Skills & Strengths Proficiency with Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI). Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes. Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking skills.
