SUMMARY Coordinates customer service activities between Rep and or Customer for Containment Products, Hoods, and HVAC Carbon products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure that customers are handled courteously and promptly.
Responsible for customer purchase orders and associated paperwork to be entered into Mac Pac accurately, and a project file is created and passed on to Engineering on a timely basis.
Enter any changes to an existing purchase order from a customer or rep into Mac Pac and see that the project file is updated accordingly.
Works with sales reps in coordinating customer information and product details by providing literature, basic technical, and product information as required.
Process requests for new customer additions and coordinate with the Corporate Credit department.
Process requests for new part numbers as required.
Work with customers on issues, concerns, or problems they may have.
Keep the Customer Service Supervisor aware of any credits to be issued and/or back charges that may be imminent.
Maintain Customer Quote Log. Manage the Request for Quote email.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two-year certificate from college or university or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Technical math required.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must have strong reasoning ability. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
