START DATE & WORK SCHEDULE: ASAP August 2025-June 2026 (FPS school year), 5-20 hours per week. Examples of Duties
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide transportation from Farmington Public Schools middle schools to The Hawk Community Center for After School Youth Program; interact with FPS students after school. Hours are 2pm-6pm. Typical Qualifications
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience driving a school bus is preferred. Experience working with youth preferred.
EDUCATION, SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING: Must have clean driving record. Ability to work in a friendly/respectable manner with co-workers, students, and parents. Ability to read and understand maps. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully both in oral and written form. Must have CDL class B or higher, school bus endorsement, DOT physical, and/or willingness to receive certifications and training to drive a school bus upon hiring. This position is not eligible for benefits.
