Responsibilities Responsible for development of application using object-oriented Java tools and methodologies. Responsible for customization and configuration of WC components and solutions. Responsible for understanding and documenting technical specifications at the Javadoc and design/specification level. Responsible for code management and utilization of code management software. Responsible for understanding and utilizing tools such as Rational Rose, Eclipse, ClearCase, and memory/performance analysis tools (like NetBeans). Qualifications Specific application programming, development methods, techniques and standards. Proficient in application development tools and software tools, which automate or assist part of the development process. Has a good knowledge of a wide area of IS concepts and practice, including the systems development life cycle, with a deep knowledge of at least one area of specialization. Familiar with database software. Familiar with operating infrastructure Knowledge of the IS infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc) used within the organization. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) covers Microsoft Windows operating systems and application development. Diploma in Rapid Application Development Proven ability to work in a Test-Driven Development manner Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server technology including Windows NT4, Windows 2000 & Windows 2003, Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003, Active Directory, SQL Server, Terminal Server and Citrix Server. Working knowledge of FTP, Telnet, Ping, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SNMP, HTTP and LDAP. Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Skill Set
