Fry Cook , you'll play a crucial role in a fast-paced kitchen, specializing in fried foods. Your responsibilities will include:
Setting Up and Breaking Down : Prepare the frying station by setting it up at the beginning of your shift and breaking it down at the end.
Assisting with Prep Work : Help with food preparation tasks, such as cutting ingredients and organizing supplies.
Frying Food to Order : Cook food items in the deep fryer according to customer orders.
Grill Assistance : Occasionally assist on the grill when needed.
Maintaining Cleanliness : Keep your work area clean and organized.
Organizing the Walk-In Freezer : Ensure proper organization of ingredients and supplies.
Adhering to Safety and Sanitation Policies : Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education : High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
Experience : Culinary training or restaurant experience is a plus.
Skills :
Basic cooking techniques.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment (including deep fryers and grills).
Food handler's card.
Physical stamina to stand for the entire shift.
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
