Process Engineer

Monitor and analyze process parameters to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency. Support daily operations by troubleshooting process upsets and equipment issues. Develop and implement operating procedures, work instructions, and best practices. Lead and support capital and improvement projects, from concept through commissioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, HSE, QA/QC, and Production) to deliver projects on time and within budget. Provide technical support for new product introductions and process scale-ups. Partner with Oleon's global process engineering, operations, and R&D teams to share knowledge, align on technical standards, and leverage best practices. Participate in global working groups and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability across Oleon sites. Participate in hazard reviews (PHA/HAZOP), MOC (Management of Change), and root cause investigations. Drive initiatives to enhance process safety management (PSM) and environmental performance. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline required. 37 years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in esterification, batch/continuous operations, or specialty chemicals. Experience in PSM-covered processes strongly preferred. Exposure to capital project execution and process control systems (DCS/PLC). Experience working with global or multi-site teams a plus. Knowledge of reaction engineering, heat transfer, and separation processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with both local and international teams.
