We are seeking an Enterprise Thought Leadership Content Strategist to help shape and execute enterprise-level thought leadership initiatives. Partnering with the Director of Enterprise Thought Leadership, you will work on high-visibility projects that shape how the company is perceived by global business and technology leaders. You will play a critical role in translating high-level strategies into integrated campaigns and thoughtful content tailored to specific audiences. How you'll make your mark: This role will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, senior leaders, and other members of the Global Marketing & Communications to ensure our thought leadership campaigns resonate with HPE's target audiences. Success in this role will be measured by the quality and impact of thought-leadership campaigns, written content, and amplification of messaging. In this role, you will: Reporting to the Director, this role is ideal for a skilled communicator and connector with a strong foundation in messaging refinement, content creation, campaign design, and audience engagement. You'll contribute to a center of excellence that helps set the goal posts for our enterprise-level thought leadership campaigns. This is a writing-intensive position that focuses heavily on supporting a campaign strategy, so you'll do well if you are adept in content creation. It also requires strong project management and execution planning skills. As a member of the Global Communications team, you'll be part of a close-knit group of talented colleagues supporting strategic communications and the implementation of 360-degree communications plans. Responsibilities for this role include: Message Refinement: Take high-level messaging frameworks and adapt them for specific campaigns, audiences, and formats, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact. Tailor content to align with the strategy developed by the broader thought leadership and communications teams. Content Creation: Collaborate to write and edit a variety of materials, including ghostwriting executive thought leadership articles, contributed content posts, executive speaker scripts, and social media and other editorial content. Ensure all materials reflect HPE's voice and narrative priorities. Campaign Development and Support: Develop 360-degree campaign plans that support integrated thought leadership initiatives. Collaborate with teams to ensure amplification and alignment across different channels and formats. Audience-Centric Storytelling: Research and understand target audiences, including business decision-makers, technology leaders, and influencers. Shape narratives that address their needs, challenges, and interests. Trend and Topic Research: Stay informed of industry trends, emerging topics, and audience preferences to help refine messaging and contribute to selection of content themes. Event Content Preparation: Liaise with vendors to prepare event moderators to help achieve HPE's campaign objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure speakers are equipped with compelling and audience-appropriate messaging, including assisting in the development and coordination of speaker briefs, talking points, and supporting materials. Editorial Quality Control: Act as a quality gatekeeper for thought leadership content, ensuring all materials meet high standards for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Global Marketing & Communications to align thought leadership content with broader campaign goals and execution plans. We are looking for someone who has the following: Experience in writing-intensive roles such as corporate communications, journalism, content marketing, or executive communications. Experience working with B2B audiences or in the technology sector is a plus. Exceptional writing and editing: Superior writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences. Experience in ghostwriting or executive communications is highly desirable. Message adaptation: Proven ability to refine and tailor messaging for specific campaigns or audiences while maintaining consistency with overarching strategies. Strategic thinking: Ability to connect high-level strategy with tactical execution, ensuring that content aligns with campaign objectives and business priorities. Audience insight: Strong understanding of how to create messaging that resonates with specific audience segments, particularly business decision-makers and technology leaders. Research and analysis: Comfort with researching industry trends, audience insights, and market dynamics to inform content and messaging. Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can build productive relationships with stakeholders across various teams and levels. Attention to detail: Strong project management and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, polished content on time. Flexible and adaptive: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with the ability to pivot priorities as business needs evolve. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in similar roles, with a strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in journalism, content marketing, or executive communications. Prior experience in corporate, agency, or technology-focused roles is a plus.
