Job Description: If you are an organized, detail-oriented, deadline driven Software Engineering professional with a passion for operating in a fast-paced environment then we are your next destination employer! As a software engineer, you will be working in hands-on capacity on critical Freddie Mac Multi-Family Systems. You will be collaborating with project team that's comprised of likeminded full stack Agile software developers, all working together to enhance and modernize the capabilities of these systems. Our Impact: We work on the end-to-end delivery of software product design and development using full stack technologies. We contribute to the solution delivery. The individual would support the technology and tools changes/improvements on the delivery processes. Work collaboratively with the other open minded, technology savvy and dedicated team members! Software Development: Develop full stack solutions using Angular and Java Springboot. Work on the application development, bug fixes, security vulnerability fixes and production support. Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4+ years of experience hands-on development experience. Experience working with Agile srcum software development process. Follow coding best practices to complete the assigned work. Must have: Languages: Java, Springboot, Angular DB: nosql (e.g. MongoDB, Postgreql, etc) Testing: Unit testing, Cucumber Some automated pipeline deployment experience (e.g. Jenkins), Agile Solid understanding of typical multi-tier architectures, FE, BE, DB, security, Restful API / microservices development experience Good communication skills Sound Knowledge of unit testing Nice to have: Languages: node.js, Python, Transactional SQL queries Testing: Cypress Testing Modern Tools: Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git, Spinnaker Cloud: AWS Other: EKS, Docker, Openshift Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.
